Trimble joins forces with Dezeen Awards to empower designers

Great architecture begins with a single, uncompromised idea. To celebrate the practitioners pushing those boundaries, Trimble and SketchUp are embarking on a three-year partnership with the Dezeen Awards to champion the future of how spaces are imagined, modeled, and realized. 

This collaboration stems from a shared obsession with how fresh ideas alter the way we build. By bridging the gap between speculative design and physical reality, the partnership shines a spotlight on the creative community and the advanced workflows powering today's most ambitious projects.

Now in its ninth year, the Dezeen Awards has evolved into a benchmark of international design excellence, drawing thousands of visionary entries from across the globe.

The 2026 program introduces a hyper-localized lens with new Regional Showcases. These curated "Top 50" lists will track how standout architectural practices are solving distinct regional challenges while making a lasting global impact.

From the initial massing sketch inside SketchUp to the intricate geometry of a completed structure, this partnership is a celebration of the dedication, tech innovation, and digital craft that turns a creative vision into a physical legacy.
